When I first came to Singapore,I thought that Singapore is too hot,why? Because at Beijing airport, the temperature there could be below zero.When I eventually got used to the life in Singapore.I found that the weather was great!
I come from Chongqing, one of the hottest cities in China.In summer,the temperature there can even shoot up to 45 degrees centigrade, which is very hot for even those intrepid people.However,I love summer,so Singapore is the best choice, for it only has “warm”summer.It is not hot but fine for me.Furthermore, there are also airconditioners indoor.That is quite good.In general,weather in Singapore is the kind of weather I prefer.
There is one other thing that drive me crazy, which is the super rainstorm! I really enjoy watching it pouring down and listening to the sound that drops hitting ground. Furthermore, sometimes the thunder is so deafening that I can feel the bed shaking when I hear it in my room! How exciting it is!
Maybe some residents don’t like it,but I’d like to say I love it!
i think you may be such kind of person who is willing to adapt to wherever you are. it is lucky that you were able to enjoy watching and listening in your dorm when the rainstorm came. being caught in it would not be a pleasant experience!

ReplyDeleteHot and wet - that's the weather condition in a tropical rainforest where thunderstorms occur quite often followed by great heat and humidity. I love it because the trees and plants grow so well here, but sometimes I wish it would be cooler and less humid so I can enjoy a long nature walk without sweating too much.
