Blog 6:Good Friday, Good Experience.

Last friday was Good Friday, a national holiday in Singapore.  Frankly, I never have any relevant activity on the day in China.  Luckily, Ms Lim, my mentor, invited me to see a mobile drama named the Final Hour with her and some of my classmate.  That was totally new for me because I was not familiar with Christianism before.          However , it was really attractive for me.  After going through the nine stations, I got a roughly idea about Jesus’ last few hours before he was nailed on the cross.  I was especially impressed by the final station, called Resurrection.  The song was beautiful and emotional.  It showed me the passion of people who had witness the resurrection of Jesus. “You are the light”, they sang.  I was moved and realized that faith can keep hopes alive.        After the end the mobile drama, a man came onto the stage and talked to us for a while.  What he said was really interested and I started to think something about Christianism.  It was not because the “myth” that drew my attention or made me doubt about that, for I had not enough evidence or knowledge to judge it .  But the I totally agreed with the ideas and thoughts which he shared with us.  I think Christianism is a good religion to believe in, which, if possible, will absolutely be my first choice.  There are many thoughts which are significant for human beings.
After this experience, I learned many things about Jesus and Bible.  I also gained more interest in Christianism.  Thank you Ms Lim, thank you Singapore.

  1. Yep. I totally agree with you. It was also the first time that I watched a mobile drama which showed us final hours when Jesus suffered. I was really glad that Ms Lim had invited us to celebrate this Good Friday in her church, since we had never experienced such a wonderful drama before. I was enriched by this precious experience and began to know about the Christian. By the way, the woman who told us she was studying in the faculty of computing engineering sent me an e-mail to ask whether you guys mind giving your e-mail address to her. And she really wanted we can keep in touch in future. @Mr Charming @Qingchun @Luoying @Wuyu @Yiyang

  2. Ah~I'd like to say that the words are a little small. And are you sure the name is Final Hour? I also went to the same place to see the drama. It is a coincidence that the senior who invited me to see it used to be a student of Ms. Lim. It was Ms.Lim that invited him to be a Christian. The drama was wonderful especially the last part, I was deeply touched by the music. It is good for us to learn something and broaden our horizons. Good night

  3. eee0-0- the name is Finial Hours. eheh

The words are too hard for me to recognize. It was surprising for me why many Chinese students begin to believe in Christian after they come to Singapore to study. Now I may get the reason from you, although it is hard to understand

  4. It sounds a really great experience. But I don't quite understand what the mobile drama is. Why the drama is called mobile drama?

  5. A mobile drama is one in which the scenes are held at different places or stations and the audience moves from one scene to the next.
