These days, I am suffering a
serious homesickness and have not recovered yet. I'm eager to go back Jinzhou--my home town.
The main
reason of this sickness may be facing the fact that I can’t go back home this
summer while the NTU students can. At
the moment I heard this massage, I thought it is really unfair for us. Why we are treated in a different way? Why we can't share the same schedule? Now every time I see the NTU boys in Labrador
Hostel I will feel angry.
Another reason
is that's I miss my parents, my friends and the delicious food in Jinzhou. Although I can have video call with my
parents every week through the Internet, I still miss them very much. I wanna go back home to eat the delicious
food cooked by my father, talk with my mother for a whole day, and sleep on my
own bed. I wanna go back to Jinzhou to
go to KTV, watch movie, or even just chat in the park together with my dear
friends. I wanna go back to my hometown
although it is poor and small.
The homesickness
is influencing my temper now. Sometimes
I may feel sad suddenly no matter where I am.
I think it is even influencing my study. However, I have already realised that it is
almost impossible for me to go home and I should accept this fact. And I also realised that it's time for me to
study harder, for our bridging course will be over soon. I hope I can gradually get out of this state
and concentrate on studying again!
i can see that you are really suffering from homesickness, and your words provoked me to miss home. as for me, i miss home only when i face predicament. cheer up! at least all of us in NUS are in the same situation. you are not alone!
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree with Lanjun. Although I do think it is a little bit unreasonable to forbid us from going home, we are not able to change the situation. Keep moving since we have already covered half of the year and will soon have access to go back in few months. o∩_∩o
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can comfort yourself in this way.We can study more things than those guys who can go back.So we do not need to worry about it.It's a truth that we will be quite busy in June and July, right?Anyway,we have chance to come back at the end of the year. That's a good news.
ReplyDeleteHomesickness? En...natrual la~
ReplyDeleteMaybe give you a chance to go back home, then you don't want to come here, since you may miss your home more. So...the key of sovle this problem, I think, is to get accustomed. Don't focus on others', but on your own things, which you really should do now...
I miss my hometown too. Our northeast food is so dilicious. However, if I am allowed to go back this summer, I still won't. This a important time for us to get used to live in NUS with local students. Just cheer up for our same department!!!
ReplyDeletethe same department is true ? really? no word can be said any more.
