Good Friday Last Friday was Good Friday, the day when the Jesus died. We got to the church to see the multi-media experiential drama called “The Final Hours”, which was used to celebrate this big day and gave us a brand new feeling about Jesus. The drama is divided into 9 parts. The most impressive parts are the “Last Supper” and “Scourging of Jesus”. In the “Last Supper”, Judas Iscariot was very grateful to decide to betray Jesus. In his mind, Jesus is esteemed and admirable. From the drama, I can see the reason why he betrayed Jesus is that he wanted Jesus to prove himself as a son of god and show his ominousness, not he was greedy for the 30 coins. Although the actor is not professional, he tried his best to show the inside mind in Judas and used his tears to affect us. The second part is “Scourging of Jesus”. It was not acted by actors but played by video. However, it was also the most glorious and impressive part. The merchants were thirsty for the death of Jesus, and he also wants to isolate him because he was supported and admired by many people, as a result of which, they greased the warden to torture and scourge Jesus. Therefore, the video showed us that the ruthless and brutal soldiers were whipping and teasing Jesus but Jesus did not surrender to them and complain about his suffer. He just suffered it silently. The video specifically showed the tragic scene to us, which made us feel sympathy for Jesus. In conclusion, the drama gave us the different feeling and impression about Jesus.
