blog 8: More Than a Dream

The other day, I found that my twin elder sister had written in her twitter, “Sister, I love you!” Although she wrote sweet and embarrassing words of me from time to time, I was still curious and responded to her asking what happened. She replied that she had dreamed a wonderful dream, after which she wrote it down.

And this was what she had dreamed: at first she and I were on a train. Then we suddenly realized that we had missed our stop. Both of us were very worried. When the train slowed a bit, I jumped out of the window, taking away my schoolbag and hers at the same time. She shouted to me,” sister, wait for me! I will see you later! ” the train went on, and gradually it became a bus. When the train almost stopped, my sister impatiently jumped off the bus. She was very anxious because the train, or the bus, had already gone so far away since I jumped off. It was a remote place with no other transportations, and she had to run back to me. She ran as fast as she could, thinking that I must have grown lonely and worried as I waited. Engulfed by a feeling of sympathy, she began to cry, and had a notion to shout” Sister, I love you!” she almost cried out these words, when my parents suddenly came to her sight. They asked her what was she doing and she answered that she was looking for me.

Right on cue, my older sister’s hand phone rang, which ended her dream. It was from her boyfriend. She felt it a pity that she had not cried out “sister, I love you!”, so she immediately wrote it down in her twitter.

“How could your boyfriend serve as a ‘light bulb’ at that critical moment?” I teased after she finished telling me her dream, but we both admitted that it was a wonderful dream.

Moreover, it was more than a dream. It reflects my sister’s deep love to me. How lucky I am to have my sister in my life.
