bolg4:The first oral presentation
On Wednesday, we successfully gave our first oral presentation in class, which may be meaningful and impressive to us. I think my presentation may be not good, but I did make my efforts to complete it. Before I addressed the speech, I could not remind anything about my speech although I managed to recite it fluently yesterday. Then when I was on the stage, I felt nervous and stressed because it was my first official speech in class although there were many oral reports that I had made before. During my speech, I made all my efforts to smooth the presentation so that I left some information which was not relevant to the subject closely. After the speech, because I found that my classmates were not active to ask some questions to others and I regarded my topic-the oppression against women and girls as the boring and monotonous one, I felt a little shameful and sorry to ask for some questions and I got back to the seats quickly and embarrassedly. In conclusion, I will depict my first presentation as a failure and there is a lot of progress that I can make in the next presentation.

  1. In fact, your presentation is not as bad as you described. Professor Tay said, you suffer, you learn. Just keep moving!

  2. Never think of it as a failure because you had tried. What's important is that you were able to look back and identify areas of weaknesses. Work on those areas to be even better the next time. Also, don't forget that you may have some strengths. Build on them to keep you going!
